About the event

Guest Speaker: Sharon Kozak

Sharon Kozak is an accomplished advocate for military families with a Bachelor’s in Psychology, a Master’s in Teaching, and ongoing studies toward a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy specializing in military families. Sharon serves as the Ombudsman for NTAG Heartland, chairs the Great Lakes Ombudsman Assembly, and contributes to the ROAB. As the Deputy Director of the Naval Services FamilyLine podcast and creator of the blog Messy Motherhood, she is a passionate voice for military spouses and service members.

Her dedication to improving military and veteran marriages, advancing mental health initiatives, and promoting the value of mental health support is evident through her volunteer work with Homefront Heroes and her involvement in family advocacy.

In her personal life, Sharon has been married to Mark Kozak for over five years, and together they are raising two children, Hannah and Robert. Her hobbies include writing, baking, sports,…
