D-Day: To triumph, one must foresee the Darkness

D-day is one of the most significant events in United States history. On this day the United States and its allies invaded fortress Europe against an entrenched and determined enemy. Success would bring about the liberation of the free World. Failure, would allow the Nazis to conquer the remainder of the World. Failure was not an option. The men storming the beaches and jumping into the darkness knew they may not live to see the result of their efforts and yet they went.

The courage inside them remains in us today. We must be willing to fight the evil after our minds, our marriages, our families, and our society. No matter the cost, no matter the sacrifice if our families die our society goes with it. Be courageous as the men and women who fought against a great evil during WWII. As individuals we must decide and as a community we will prevail.
